The Nesta Italia Incontra cycle of events comes from the desire to consider social innovation as a continuous process of contamination, learning and co-creation.
The Nesta Italia Incontra events want to be an opportunity for discussion and dialogue with specialists in the field and citizens. The goal of these periodic appointments is to build relations and give life to collaborations and shared projects.
The first event will take place on March 26th at Rinascimenti Sociali (via Maria Vittoria 38, Turin) from 1.00pm to 6.00pm.
During the first session of the afternoon we will talk about Collective Intelligence with Geoff Mulgan, CEO of Nesta, one of the world’s leading experts in social innovation, who will, for the occasion, introduce his new book “Big Mind: How Collective Intelligence Can Change Our World”, that will be published in Italy at the beginning of June by Codice Edizioni.
The second session of the meeting will focus on Health and the new trends of the sector such as the practices related to the People Powered Health concept illustrated by Halima Khan, Executive Director Health Lab Nesta. Zoe Romano, founder of Wemake and Elena Como, Research Area Manager of LAMA Agency, will also animate the meeting.
At the end of this session, the workshop “Show & Tell” will be held to share experiences among the promoters of initiatives that are contributing to innovate the world of care. In this event, you will have the possibility to meet other social innovators, to tell your project and to build new alliances. The session will be facilitated by Serena Cangiano and Zoe Romano.
